In a professional career spanning over 30 years, Srikar has played very diverse roles in the areas of embedded Software Engineering, Business IT, Business Process Management, Corporate Strategy, Organizational Change Management, and Product development. The one constant driving force for Srikar has been to imagine possibilities that go far beyond status-quo, and work towards realising the same through a combination of innovation and attention to detail.

Srikar worked for over a decade for Car Infotainment systems with Blaupunkt, Germany. He was instrumental in building the first ever working prototype of a Car Radio whose functioning is controlled by a Finite State Machine. As part of the 4-member global SW Architecture core team, Srikar designed and developed several functional sub-systems and architectural components in the Car Infotainment embedded engineering space.

In the Business IT space, Srikar led major ERP and business process implementation projects in the CIO role. These projects included intensive Organization Change Management and Stakeholder Management initiatives spanning across different levels, functions, and geographies.

Srikar was the conceptual architect and business mentor for creating a Software Product related to compliance and risk monitoring. Within 2 years of launch, the product delivered a healthy ROI, and had over 5000 users worldwide at the last count.

The other side of Srikar is that of a practicing musician. He maintains a website Swarasindhu on Carnatic music, with the purpose of publishing the music manuscripts of his Guru, especially notations, for the benefit of teachers and students of Carnatic Music. Srikar also has a YouTube channel with significant following for the topic of Carnatic and World music.
