Venu comes with well-rounded three decades of professional experience in driving business results, leading organizational transformations, building new businesses, and developing leaders.

As a business-hardened leader, Venu has built high-performance teams through purpose-driven culture, strategy, leadership development, and organization-wide change management. His areas of experience include setting up global capability centers, building up intrapreneurial ventures, organizational change management, restructuring, and re/upskilling.

Venu holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics engineering and a Master’s in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani. He has done his Executive MBA (EGMP) from IIM-B.

In the areas of IT, energy, and automotive system businesses, Venu has led large teams with a strong focus on P&L. He was a key player in setting up the largest captive software development center for Bosch, outside Germany, in Bangalore (India). As the head of corporate strategy, he was instrumental in initiating the first-ever innovation program in Bosch India and in establishing customer-focused near-shore capability development centers for Bosch in Vietnam, Poland, and Mexico.

Venu founded and established Bosch’s Energy & Building Solutions business in India & SAARC. His tactical market entry strategies resulted in effective brand recall in both channel and project businesses.

As Vice President, Organizational Development & Strategy in Bosch India, Venu successfully led organization-wide transformations in close coordination with the board. His initiatives included organizational restructuring based on the Zero-Based Organization (ZBO) concept, improving employee experience (EX) resulting in Bosch India becoming the certified great place to work, Up/Reskilling program for future-readiness & talent deployment, and potential oriented leadership coaching.

Venu was one of the chosen mentors for Bosch’s APAC new business accelerators, facilitated by UC Berkeley. Venu also has several years of experience in the research, development, and maintenance of software-intensive military electronic systems.

Venu is in the Senate of IIITDM Jabalpur, Adjunct professor in SMVDU-Jammu, and coach for PGPX batches in IIM-A. Venu is passionate about driving innovation, developing young leaders, and promoting positive leadership.
